Mark Newbold’s vision, financial acumen and legal understanding have been the main drivers behind Strategic Marine’s successful transformation from an Australian-focussed local boat builder, into an international shipbuilding company. From the deck to Master of Vessels, Mr Newbold culminated his experiences by operating a tug and towage operation as managing director. He then focused his expertise to consulting for Western Australian-based Geraldton Boat Builders and ultimately becoming its chair. Mr Newbold was the driving force behind the establishment of Strategic Marine in 2001.
