Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes has 20 years of experience and awareness of industry issues throughout the rail and wider transport environment. He has an excellent knowledge of rail business and operations, and has lead the expansion of Interfleet’s product offering within the UK market as well as service delivery of its full range of services to train operators, suppliers, financiers, government and associated agencies. Mr Hughes held frontline operations, traincrew and performance management roles in the freight and passenger sectors. As a consultant, he has supported numerous franchise bids in the areas of the Operations and Service Delivery Plan. Mr Hughes has also performed the leadership role of overall bid director at MTRs Crossrail Bid in London, accountable to the chief executive of Europe.
