Mark Hainsworth has over 20 years of experience in the specialised sector of justice and correctional facilities. He joined Cox Architecture in 1998 when the practice merged with the renowned Perth practice Forbes Fitzharding Woodland. In addition to his continuous work on justice and correctional facilities, he has been a project architect for the redevelopment of the Old Emu Brewery (now Capitol Square) in Perth, the St John of God Hospital Cardiac Catheter Laboratory in Western Australia, the Replacement Reactor Research Facility in Lucas Heights in New South Wales, and the TVW Institute for Child Health Research in Perth. Justice and correctional projects include the Carnarvon Police and Justice Complex, the District Courts, the Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison, refurbishment of the Central Law Courts, the Rockingham Justice Complex, as well as Beechworth Prison in Victoria, South Auckland Correctional Facility in New Zealand, and Dubai Central Prison in the Middle East.
