Margaret Buswell
Board Member, Chair since 2022 / CinefestOZ Film Festival
Margaret Buswell completed a Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of WA, and went on to work for one of the Big 8 accounting firms in Perth where she was subsequently seconded to its UK office.
In 1992, Ms Buswell returned to Busselton to start her own tourism business called Villa. She has overseen its growth as it has evolved in to a major tourism company.
Ms Buswell has a background in fundraising with various not-for-profit organisations and has a keen interest in Australian film. She joined the board of CinefestOZ Film Festival in 2009 and became deputy chair in 2016 and chair in March 2022.
