Dr Marco Schultheis has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research relating to business and market analysis. After completing an Associate Diploma in Engineering, he commenced his career with an EFT-POS design and manufacturing firm. He then went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance and Marketing, and a Master of Strategic Marketing. With over 20 years of experience in the field of strategic planning and management, Dr Schultheis worked in a variety of roles at Curtin University including as the director of marketing and alumni as well as a sessional academic, teaching in the fields of market research and sports marketing. In 2016, he completed a Doctorate of Business Administration, with his research focused on the effect business intelligence systems have on the quality of strategic decision making. Dr Schultheis is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He served on the Curtin University Council and was a non-executive director of YMCA Perth. In 2017, Dr Schultheis completed a high potential leaders program at Harvard University.
