Malcolm Stewart graduated with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Computing Studies. He was selected for the Britain Australia Vocational Exchange run by Cambridge University and was subsequently placed with ANZ Grindlays Bank in London.
Upon his return to Australia, Mr Stewart spent 2 years at the Taxation Office and completed the CPA program. He then worked as a commercial accountant and in public practice before setting up his own practice in 1993.
Mr Stewart joined the Western Australian CPA Public Practice Committee and became chair for 2 years. He was also on the national CPA Public Practice Advisory Committee for 7 years, serving as chair for the final year.
