Luke Paterson is a commercial and corporate lawyer with a particular focus on M&A, corporate transactions and private business. He has experience in all aspects of corporate transactions including structuring, due diligence, negotiation and preparation of transaction documents and addressing post-transaction implementation issues. Mr Paterson has been involved in the sale of several different businesses including mining camps, mining services, modular accommodation, construction, hotels and medical emergency organisations, and security & training businesses. He also has experience in distressed sales, having assisted receivers, liquidators and administrators in the disposal of distressed assets. Mr Paterson also has a very active commercial practice, and has advised many privately held businesses, indigenous organisations, port authorities, incorporated associations and a number of foreign companies making in-bound investments. He has been involved in the creation of numerous joint ventures with indigenous organisations regarding civil and mining works, mining camp and facilities management.
