Liz Westgarth is a registered architect with a broad range of experience in commercial, residential, culture and arts, education and large master planning projects within Australia and abroad in both design and construction stages.
Ms Westgarth became the first female managing director of international design practice Hassell and is responsible for leading the company's direction and strategy globally. She is based in Sydney and joined the company in April 2013 as a principal before becoming a board director in July 2020 and managing director in July 2023.
Ms Westgarth was acknowledged for her industry contributions, winning the 2022 Business Women of the Year Award at the NSW National Association of Women in Construction Awards for Excellence.
