Lindsay Partridge AM is a ceramic engineer who worked extensively in all facets of the industry in Australia and the US prior to joining the Austral Bricks division of Brickworks. He held various senior management positions at Austral Bricks before being appointed chief executive of Brickworks in 1999 and managing director in 2000. Mr Partridge has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Ceramic Engineering from the University of New South Wales. He has completed the Stanford University Executive Development Program and has a Diploma in Corporate Directorship from the University of New England. Mr Partridge is a Senior Fellow of the Corporate Directors Association and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2012, he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for services to the Building and Construction Industry, particularly in the areas of industry training and career development, and to the community.
