Lex Lanyon

Lex Lanyon is a commercial lawyer with substantial experience in the electricity and gas sectors. Her expertise includes advising major energy & resource companies and energy utilities on transactional, commercial and regulatory matters; drafting key commercial contracts including electricity and gas supply agreements, electricity network access contracts, and power purchase agreements; and providing advice to the east coast and west coast electricity and gas markets on revenue determinations, network access and regulation. Her regulatory experience includes secondments to the Australian Energy Market Operator and the Department of Treasury Public Utilities Office as part of the Electricity Market Review. Ms Lanyon also has commercial and M&A experience, advising on transactional matters and commercial contract preparation including in the health and agricultural sectors.
