Lee Musumeci

Lee Musumeci PSM is the principal of Challis Community Primary School and has overseen the amalgamation of Challis Early Childhood Education Centre and Challis Primary School. She designed, introduced and trialled a new leadership structure; defined and implemented new leadership roles; established professional learning teams; and negotiated, maintained and sourced new opportunities for funding partnerships. Ms Musumeci was awarded Primary Principal of the Year in 2011, and is a finalist in the Community Award category of the 2019 Western Australian Of The Year Awards. In 2020, Ms Musumeci was awarded a Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to early childhood education in Western Australia.
