Kristin Stubbins AM has extensive experience as an auditor and advisor across a wide variety of industries. As the lead auditor at some of Australia’s largest ASX entities, she has focused on driving quality and integrity in audit and the critical role the audit profession plays in underpinning trust in the capital markets.
Ms Stubbins has been a partner of PwC for 18 years, a member of its executive board since 2020, and as PwC Australia’s assurance leader since July 2022 and acting chief executive since May 2023. She was previously the audit business leader where she was the key driver and project sponsor of the digital transformation of the firm’s audit business in Australia, China and Southeast Asia. She also led one of PwC’s consulting businesses for three years, delivering significant growth. Ms Stubbins is a board member of the Group of 100, representing PwC Australia. She developed and leads Innowell, a venture between Sydney University and PwC, designed to transform the way mental health services are delivered.
In 2019 Ms Stubbins was named in the Australia Financial Review’s ‘100 Women of Influence’, having been nominated in the innovation category. In 2023, she was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the financial sector, to women, and to the community.
