Ken Cao is a corporate advisor focused on Australia China cross-border transactions. He successfully managed IPOs, private equity funds and investment projects throughout Australia and China, with a particular focus on the agriculture, property and technology sectors.
Mr Cao spent 20 years in investment and trade roles in the public and private sectors, servicing Chinese corporations and investors seeking to expand globally.
He was a founding committee member of the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) and was also Secretary-General for its first three years. Throughout his career, Mr Cao advised hundreds of Chinese companies to invest offshore. He travels to China regularly and has a strong knowledge of current economic, political and industry trends.
Mr Cao has published hundreds of market reports and articles in China to introduce Australia and New Zealand business and economics, and is a key writer for the official Chinese edition of “Australian Annual Market Report”.
He is a company director in Australia and China, including being a director of a Chinese top 500 company in Australia, and the senior advisor to a Chinese top 10 law firm.
Mr Cao holds a Masters degree from the Australian business school, MGSM of Macquarie University.
