Keith Thornton is a licensed motor dealer and holds a Bachelor of Economics. His motor industry experience commenced in 1995 and covers retail and wholesale operations in volume, niche and prestige sectors of the industry. Mr Thornton joined AP Eagers in 2002 as general manager of Southside Honda and Land Rover prior to becoming general manager of Austral Honda and Austral Volkswagen in 2004. He was appointed general manager of operations, vehicles in 2005 to oversee new and used vehicle operations. In 2007, he was promoted to general manager of Queensland and Northern Territory with full responsibility for all operational issues. In January 2017, Mr Thornton became AP Eagers' chief operating officer, and is responsible for all car operations nationally.
