Katie Charuga started her career at Fortescue back in 2010 and has since climbed the ranks to the role of director integrated operations since August 2024.

Ms Charuga has held various senior leadership roles across the business, including safety manager, rail operations manager and general manager of Solomon, Eliwana, and Port and Rail Operations.

She has been commended for her leadership skills, being named one of the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining in 2020 and receiving the 40 Under 40 Award in 2021.
