Kate Ihanimo joined Centrecare in 2009 as a community case worker, and has since held a number of positions including as team leader, program manager, project officer, interim alliance manager and acting executive manager. She is the executive manager of Centrecare's Cannington and Gosnells branches.
Ms Ihanimo has a Masters in International and Community Development, a Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences), Certificate IV Human Services (Community Advocacy for Women), and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment.
She has a very diverse experience managing and working in homelessness, adult justice, youth justice, humanitarian programs, settlement services, family support networks, intensive family support services, private rental services, public tenancy support services, Aboriginal specific services, domestic violence services, children’s counselling services, women’s advocacy, and suicide prevention projects.
