Julia Sutherland has over 14 years of experience practising in employment law, industrial relations and discrimination law, as well as work health and safety law. She has particular experience in employment law litigation, both in common law Courts and in Federal and State employment and anti-discrimination Tribunals. Ms Sutherland regularly advises on employee transfers, redundancy and consultation processes in business sales and restructures, terms and conditions of executive employment, and assists clients to manage executive exits. Ms Sutherland is also experienced in assisting public and private sector clients on compliance with work health and safety laws, their responses to workplace incidents (including fatalities), and about managing investigations into incidents. She also acts for clients in prosecutions by safety regulators arising from incidents.
