Juan Larranaga
Juan Larranaga spent 9 years as the WA State Manager for Save the Children where he has overseen the multi-award winning Youth Partnership Project and successfully developed and analysed evidence on the application of place-based approaches in addressing the complex social issues affecting Aboriginal children and families. Prior to Save the Children, Mr Larranaga was the manager of population health at Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Services. During his tenure, he implemented a child and maternal health policy and program, and an outreach maternal health program. Mr Larranaga is passionate about contributing to a vibrant, sustainable social services sector, and exploring creative and innovative solutions to addressing some of WA’s more complex social issues. He advocates for a fairer WA that looks after its vulnerable and disadvantaged, and would like to explore how we can all collectively contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
