Smart home technology company Zimi has produced an impressive March quarter to generate more value in receipts from customers in the the last three months than in the combined amount from its previous two reporting periods. The company collected $464,000 in customer receipts in the quarter, compared to a combined $308,000 from the entire first half of the financial year, according to its latest quarterly report.

Smart home technology company Zimi has seen record device pairings in three of the last four months which the company says shows an accelerated market adoption as it prepares to launch into an adjacent smoke detection market. Zimi estimates the global smoke detector market will grow to about US$3 billion in five years.

With the humble home getting smarter and smarter, the opportunities associated with smart home products are endless and ASX-listed Zimi Ltd has positioned itself in the vanguard of the new wave of players. Zimi's smart power points and switches are next level and the company already has product in the market via distribution agreements with a seriously big retailer and a wholesaler that supplies almost 1000 stores.

ASX-listed smart home technology provider, Quantify Technology, has completed an exciting merger with like-minded GSM Innovations while successfully raising $4 million. Adelaide-based GSM-I, a subsidiary of unlisted electrical specialists Gerard Private Holdings, manufactures the segment-leading Zimi integrated home technology products. The deal also sees Gerard Private take a 40 per cent major shareholder position in Quantify.
