John Wise

Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary / Acumentis Group

John Wise trained with PwC in the UK and also worked in Hungary before emigrating to Australia in 1990. He joined Acumentis (then LMW) in September 2016 as chief financial officer and company secretary and has extensive experience in the property services sector, having previously been the chief financial officer & company secretary of Savills from 1999 until 2016.

Mr Wise has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

In 2020, he was awarded CEO Magazine’s ‘CFO of the Year – 2020’ which recognised the expertise and commitment shown by Mr Wise in leading the company’s financial position through some challenging times in the previous 18 months.
