John Stanhope

John Stanhope AM has many years of experience in senior positions in financial, communications and other commercial roles.

Mr Stanhope was a member of the Financial Reporting Council, director of RACV and Telstra, board member of the CPA Australia's Professional Education, and chair of the Business Coalition for Tax Reform.

He was also chancellor of Deakin University, having been a member of Deakin's Council since 2012. In 2014, Mr Stanhope was awarded a Deakin Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award.

In 2016, Mr Stanhope was made a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the financial and national communication sectors through a range of leadership roles.
