John Robertson is a specialist commercial and dispute resolution solicitor. He practices in the areas of general commercial and civil litigation, including trade practices and insolvency matters. He also has extensive experience in the area of banking and finance litigation, including enforcement of securities and criminal property confiscation matters.
Mr Robertson has a wide client base in commercial and retail leasing (acting for both landlord and tenant), and regularly acts on leasing enforcement and dispute issues and property acquisitions and disposals. He has appeared regularly in the District, Supreme and Federal jurisdictions and the State Administrative Tribunal.
Early in Mr Robertson's career, he served as an associate to the Honourable Justice Owen of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and worked in a large bank in credit and risk management positions.
