John Nesbitt

John Nesbitt has over 40 years of experience in investment management, banking, insurance, property, construction and infrastructure sectors in Australia, Asia, the US and UK.

Mr Nesbitt was the chief executive of Suncorp Banking & Wealth and chief financial officer of Suncorp Group. Prior to Suncorp, he was the group chief financial officer at Perpetual, and chief financial officer for Asia Pacific at Lendlease Corporation.

Mr Nesbitt was chair of Perpetual Superannuation Board, council member of the Australian Bankers’ Association, member of the Australian Payments Council, national executive committee member of the Group of 100 CFOs, and member of the Finance Executives International Board. He has also been a non-executive director of Members Equity Bank, General Reinsurance Australia Group and Evolve Housing, and AMP Capital Holdings.
