John Macaulay has extensive commercial experience and an interest in agriculture. He has had a keen interest in the beef industry, and has been involved for over 50 years in beef seed stock and other agricultural pursuits.
Mr Macaulay has been in the retail business for over 20 years. In conjunction with his family, Mr Macaulay owns and runs Kitchen Warehouse Australia which is a national omnichannel retail chain of kitchenware stores. Prior to that, he was a retail and accounting consultant at an international computer company, a financial controller of a public company, and a controller for a Telecom District where he was a project manager responsible for fitting out and relocating 1600 staff into its headquarter. He had also prepared various reports in the industrial engineering section of Telecom.
