John Bessey

As Empired Group's executive general manager of sales & marketing, John Bessey is responsible for the growth and development of its business in Australia, New Zealand (Intergen) and North America (Intergen North America) across all solution areas. Mr Bessey worked in the ICT industry for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience in running businesses across the Asia Pacific, having held leadership roles in the Philippines, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Empired, he spent seven years with Microsoft including three years in the Philippines as managing director. Mr Bessey has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Auckland and attended the Auckland University Business School where he completed postgraduate studies in Marketing.
