Joanne McCabe

Commander Joanne McCabe APM commenced with WA Police in 1988 and received her Commission in 2008. In 2014, Commander McCabe was on the rank of Superintendent before receiving her current rank in the Policing Innovation and Improvement Division. In 2018, she transferred to the Regional Western Australia Portfolio overseeing all the policing services across the regional and remote areas in the Kimberley, Pilbara and Goldfields Esperance.

Commander McCabe holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management, a Masters in Public Sector Leadership, and is a recipient of the Australian Police Medal Award in 2013.

She is part of the National Policing Leadership Cohort for the Australia New Zealand Police Leadership Strategy.
