Jim Challis

Augusta Hotel is one of the longest standing members of the Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association (30 years) and has been awarded life membership. Jim Challis has been the hotel’s representative throughout this period. He first joined the committee in 1994 and was a member for three years, demonstrating exemplary service and dedication to represent and enhance tourism in the town of Augusta. Mr Challis continues to be an active member of the Augusta community and has been a foundation member of Leeuwin Lions, serving two terms as president. He is also a Foundation Member of the Augusta Business Association (now Augusta Chamber of Commerce), associated with Augusta Golf Club for a very long time, and is a tireless contributor and respected member of the Augusta community.
