Jennifer Franceschi has extensive experience in the avocado industry and is a dynamic fresh produce marketer. She is the managing director and part-owner of Advance Packing and Marketing Services. Ms Franceschi has been growing avocados since she started out on the family farm in 1974. In 2009, she co-founded the Avocado Export Company, where Western Australian and Queensland growers export avocados year-round, as the two regions have complementary seasons. More recently she co-founded the Fresh Produce Alliance, which operates a processing facility in Manjimup. The plant has high pressure processing technology, which is used to turn avocados into purees and smoothies, among other foods. In 2017, Ms Franceschi won the Telstra WA businesswoman of the year award.
