Jean Claude Steinmetz has been involved in the chemical industry for over 25 years, with particular focus on the automotive industry leading projects in body developments and reductions programmes of carbon dioxide (CO2) in compliance with European and global legislation.
Mr Steinmetz held management positions in Rhodia-Solvay, GE and Du Pont. He served as chair of the Auto Plastic and Innovative Materials Committee of SinoEU Chemical Manufacturers Association, and was previously chief operating officer for Lynas Corporation where he had operational responsibility for the mining operations and concentration plant at Mount Weld in Western Australia and the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) in Malaysia.
