Janet Stead is a registered Australian patent and trademarks attorney with extensive experience in assisting clients protect their rights in Australia, New Zealand and overseas. Ms Stead entered the patent attorney profession in 1990. Her areas of expertise are in chemical patents, mineral processing, process technology, and general mechanical patents. She also has extensive experience in trademarks, and has acted for many clients choosing new trademarks, and in re-branding campaigns. Ms Stead worked for Wrays from 1990 to 2002. In 2002, she started her own firm trading as Janet Stead & Associates which she operated for 11 years until January 2014 when her firm merged with Wrays.
