Jane Johnson was admitted to practice in WA in 2008 and New Zealand in 1989. She became an accredited family law specialist in 2015.
While in New Zealand, Ms Johnson worked in family law and in private practice for 18 years. She was a partner for a decade, and acted & advised as a senior lawyer for children and as a senior youth advocate. In the next 16 years at Kim Wilson & Co, she was a solicitor specialising in family and divorce law. She also enhanced her expertise in complex family law matters, conducting and instructing counsel in Family Court trials, and became a director of the firm.
Ms Johnson will become a Magistrate of the Family Court of WA in January 2024.
She has been recognised as both a pre-eminent parenting and child custody lawyer for WA, and a respected family and divorce lawyer.
