Jamie McGleave has been engaged in Perth’s performing arts scene for a decade, taking on various roles as an arts practitioner and arts worker. He has also completed Bachelors of Arts in Performance Studies at Curtin University and Arts Management at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Currently working in venue management at His Majesty’s Theatre and the State Theatre Centre of WA, Mr McGleave also spent over two years as communications & development manager at STRUT Dance where he had significant input in the changes and rebranding of that organisation as a national entity. On a freelance basis, he produced and promoted the RTRFM Music Award nominated Classical vs Jazz – The Ultimate Harp Battle at Fringe World, Melbourne Fringe and Adelaide Fringe. Mr McGleave directed the sold-out premiere season of Pluck! at The Blue Room Theatre, which was nominated for the Artrage Theatre Award during Fringe World 2013.
