James Tranter is well experienced in various aspects of the capital markets and has a range of corporate experience across investor relations roles, corporate finance valuation and M&A activity, as well as debt management and refinancing transactional experience. Mr Tranter previously headed up the investor relations program for the ASX-listed Alinta Infrastructure Holdings where he oversaw all dealings with the capital markets and was further involved with the investor relations program of Alinta, principally during the acquisition of Alinta by a consortium-led by Babcock & Brown and Singapore Power International. Mr Tranter is a chartered accountant and had worked in the professional services sector with KPMG subsequent to his time at Alinta. He also undertook a number of financial management roles within energy infrastructure companies, spanning across the planning, investment and business development functions.
