James Scott

James Scott was the chief operating officer of Seven Group Holdings from 2015-2016 and was responsible for the company's operating activities, business transformation and cost reduction initiatives, as well as supporting new innovation and investment opportunities, and performance management across the operating companies. Mr Scott is a board member of the WesTrac businesses in Australia and China and has a leadership role across the technology and operational divisions. He has over 20 years’ experience in system integration, digital technology and innovative solutions, with a strong focus on leveraging technology to drive business optimisation and performance change. Prior to Seven Group Holdings, Mr Scott was a partner in KPMG’s Business Performance and Technology division, partner and managing director at Accenture where he worked for 14 years, and founding member and director for Imagine broadband. He holds an Honours degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering (BEng Hons) from Loughborough University, UK. Mr Scott is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow member of Engineers Australia.
