James Beecher

James Beecher has more than 40 years’ experience in senior finance, accounting and secretarial positions in resources, financial services and services companies. He has been chief financial officer or finance director of NRMA, Savage Resources, and Austen & Butta. At the Commonwealth Bank, he held senior positions including deputy chief financial officer, group financial controller and group chief accountant. He is a director of ASX-listed Lefroy Exploration, CBG Capital and NuCoal Resources. He has been a non-executive director of Findlay Securities and MIL Resources, company secretary of Gloucester Coal, and a Compliance Committee Member of FSP Funds Management and Abacus Funds Management. Mr Beecher is deputy chair of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Reporting Committee.
