Ian Hansen

Ian Hansen led the Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers (WesCEF) division from July 2016 to November 2024. Prior to that, Mr Hansen was the chief operating officer of WesCEF, managing director of the chemicals and fertilisers division, and was a director of several Wesfarmers joint ventures.

Mr Hansen has been involved in a wide range of industry bodies including the International Fertilizer Association, Chemistry Australia, the Australian Latin American Business Council, and previously the Kwinana Industries Council and Australian Institute of Management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (double major in Chemistry), and has undertaken postgraduate business studies. He is also a graduate of the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.
