Ian Edwards is the senior director of office leasing and asset management services at Knight Frank in Perth, and sits on Knight Frank Perth's executive board. His role at Knight Frank centres on leasing major office assets for private and institutional clients as well as providing strategic asset management consultancy for major clients. Much of his time is taken up with new office developments including advising clients what and where to build, appointing and briefing legal teams, and working closely with owners and development managers to develop office buildings which will be sought after by tenants. He then secures suitable tenants, negotiates the commercial terms and works with all parties to produce the necessary documentation required. Mr Edwards has been recognised by Knight Frank as the highest office leasing fee earner in Australia on multiple occasions.
