Howard Golden is a geoscientist with over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. He has worked across six continents, has significant operating experience throughout West Africa, and held senior executive roles with major listed companies.
Mr Golden was the chief executive of Boromo Gold before becoming chief executive of Arrow Minerals in August 2019 following Arrow's acquisition of Boromo, and managing director in February 2020. He was part of the teams that discovered the Syama, Oyu Tolgoi, Agbaou & West Musgrave deposits. Mr Golden was also the global exploration manager for Nordgold, general manager of exploration at Rio Tinto, regional director of exploration at Kinross Gold Corporation, chief geophysicist at WMC Resources in Australia, and principal geoscientist of BHP Minerals.
He is an adjunct associate professor of the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Physics at the University of WA.
