He co-led a management buyout of stockbroking firm Hartleys in 2003 and ran its corporate advisory arm until 2015, turning it into one of the top investment banking businesses in Western Australia. At the height of the mining boom, Hartleys was the top ranked mergers and acquisitions resources adviser in Australia by number of deals completed for three straight years. In addition, Hartleys is consistently one of the top three WA capital raising firms by volume and amount. Mr Egerton-Warburton won the 40under40 First Amongst Equals prize in 2012 and has been involved in the awards judging in several of the following years. He joined the board of listed exploration company S2 Resources in 2016 and jointly established boutique corporate advisory firm Salient Corporate in 2017.
