Gregory Romain

Gregory Romain is a senior mining executive with over 30 years of experience, and a deep understanding of mining and exploration in Canada.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Mr Romain became the chief executive and managing director of Ardiden in April 2023. Prior to that, he was the chief executive and president of MacDonald Mines Exploration and of Gowest Gold where he advanced its flagship Bradshaw gold project from a pure exploration play to a fully permitted 1,500 tonnes per day underground development.

Mr Romain holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Technology from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, and completed the Executive Program at Smith School of Business in Queen’s University, Canada.
