Greg Milner holds a Bachelor of Laws (with distinction) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of WA.

He practised as a commercial and property solicitor for over 13 years before completing the Emerging Leaders in Governance program in 2017. Mr Milner has a special interest in aged care issues and has worked with a number of aged care organisations, both professionally and as a volunteer.

He became a councillor at the City of South Perth in 2017 and was elected mayor in 2019.

Mr Milner is also an occasional contributing writer for various publications. His work has appeared in The West Australian, REIWA News, the UWA Law Review, and Lexisnexis' Practical Guidance Service.
