Greg Albert holds professional qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, International Marketing and also an MBA (New Technology). He has lived in South Asia, USA, China and in Europe with roles covering leadership, management, sales, services, distribution, manufacturing, business strategy and business development across very large complex organisations and globally diverse cultures.
His career commenced in Newcastle Australia in heavy equipment design, manufacture, sales and service. Mr Albert held senior executive roles around the world, principally in Asia, Europe and the USA, with industrial market leaders Metso (Finland) and Sandvik (Sweden).
Prior to joining Bisalloy in December 2015, Mr Albert was based in Sweden as the president of Sandvik Global Markets, covering 23 countries for their mining and construction businesses, and a member of their executive team. His global experience in the acquisition and integration of businesses also includes the establishment of multiple JVs in China, India and new business integration in numerous countries. Mr Albert led Bisalloy Steels as the only Australian manufacturer of Quench & Tempered specialty performance steels. He retired as its chief executive and managing director in July 2020.
