Graham Hodges has comprehensive international experience in the financial services industry with a career spanning over 35 years. He commenced his career in Commonwealth Treasury, Canberra where he worked for approximately 10 years before being seconded to the International Monetary Fund in Washington for several years. For over 25 years, Mr Hodges built an executive career at the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group, working initially as chief economist and then in business leadership roles in the corporate and small business divisions, before becoming chief executive of ANZ New Zealand. Since 2009, he has been the deputy chief executive of ANZ Banking Group. Mr Hodges is a director of AmBank and had previously been chair of ANZ SAM Board (Special Assets Management), Esanda, ANZ Wealth and the Government’s Aged Care Financing Authority. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from Monash University.
