George Savvides AM has over 25 years of experience in the Australian healthcare industry.

Mr Savvides was chief executive of leading health insurer Medibank for 14 years, chief executive of Sigma Company (now Sigma Healthcare), general manager of CIG Healthcare Australia, chair of Medicines Partnerships of Australia, and served for 18 years on the board of World Vision Australia including six years as chair.

In 2020, Mr Savvides was made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the community, to charitable groups, and to business.
