Gene Tilbrook

Gene Tilbrook was with Wesfarmers from 1985 to 2009 and held various roles across acquisitions, capital investment, finance and strategy. He became executive director of business development in 2002 and finance director in 2005. Mr Tilbrook resigned as finance director of Wesfarmers in 2009 and has since held non-executive roles at a number of national companies.

He was a non-executive director of Aurizon Holdings, Fletcher Building, GPT Group, Bell Shakespeare Company and Woodside Energy. He was president of the Australian Institute of Company Directors WA division, and a councillor of Curtin University.
