A Chartered Professional and Fellow of AusIMM, he has held senior technical and operational roles with Rio Tinto, Arafura Rare Earths, Peak Rare Earths and Neometals. 

Through Met-Chem Consulting, Gavin provides technical expertise and due diligence support for critical minerals projects worldwide, specialising in metallurgical evaluation and project development risk.
