Frédérick is currently Managing Director, Private Equity for CDPQ Sydney.
He joined CDPQ in 2009, post-GFC, first to lead the organisational transformation of the $250 billion global asset manager as Head of Talent and Organisational Development and a member of the Executive Committee, and then as global COO of the Private Equity group. Prior to joining CDPQ, Frédérick served as Head of People for KPMG Australia, and for ten years prior to that, he occupied a series of positions with global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, first in North America, and then in the Asia-Pacific region, where he led McKinsey’s organisational metrics practice and advised clients on large scale business and cultural transformation and merger integration.
In his current role, Frédérick acts as an Operating Partner for the Private Equity group and focuses his efforts on driving value creation within CDPQ’s portfolio companies.
Frédérick conducted postdoctoral research in law and economics at UC Berkeley, and earned his LL.D. and LL.B. at the Université de Montréal.
