Frank Samani interest in epoxy resin and related products began during his PhD in Chemistry and Polymer Science at Murdoch University.
His professional career dates from 1990, during which time he has attended and presented at many industrial symposiums and conferences around the world. He is also a member of The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Inc., is a Chartered Chemist and a University Associate of Curtin University.
He worked as a research chemist from 1996-2000, followed by a chief chemist position from 2000-2005.
Since 2005, he has worked as a chief scientist, developing an automated analytical technique to monitor fuel composition and consumption, and formulating specialty products chemicals for the the mining and petrochemical industries.
In 2008, Mr Samani established Shimicoat, with the intention of offering the ultimate in epoxy resin and associated products to the wider Australian community. In line with his continuing research and developmental work, so the Shimicoat range is also designed using the latest technology
