Fiona de Garis

Fiona de Garis joined Performing Lines in 2008, fresh from a year as associate producer of the 20th UNIMA Congress and World Puppetry Festival. For UNIMA, she worked with a small team to deliver an extensive programme of performances, an artists’ club, professional development sessions and a free Carnival Day at the Perth Concert Hall. Previously an itinerant project, company and stage manager, Ms de Garis spent 14 years wandering and working with many of Australia’s leading performing arts organisations. A particular career highlight was touring with Neil Thomas’ The Urban Dream Capsule at home and abroad. Ms de Garis is a graduate of both the University of Western Australia and the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
