Fiona Balfour AO has over 30 years of executive experience in the aviation, telecommunications, financial services, education and not-for-profit sectors. Her experience is in information and communications technology, and in global customer-facing business solutions across a variety of technologies including digital channel management.
Mrs Balfour is an independent non-executive director of Salmat, TAL (Dai-ichi Life) Australia and Airservices Australia. She is a member and former councillor of Chief Executive Women, former director of SITA SC (Geneva) from 2001 to 2006, former Trustee of the National Breast Cancer Foundation from 2007 to 2011, and a treasurer & councillor of Knox Grammar School.
Mrs Balfour has been a Fellow of Monash University since 2010.
In 2023, she was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for significant service to corporate governance, and to the aviation sector.
